Me and my friend wanted to try out Nishiki in pearland and I was a bit concerned since it seemed to have limited options for vegetarians but I wanted to try it anyways! We were quickly greeted and sat down, I told the waitress I'm vegetarian and she listed out the options I had mainly appetizer- edamame salads and they can customize sushi. I decided to customize a sushi with cucumber avacado cream cheese, and ordered spicy garlic edamame. Everything came quickly and I was pleasantly surprised it was pretty good! My friend ordered normal sushi and loved it! The edamame was the right amount of spice and garlic. It's on the more expensive side but good food.

The food was excruciatingly delicious. The service was great as well -- the attention you receive is unmatched. Michael was our server! The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for as well. We tried the steamed gyoza, shrimp tempura roll, crunchy roll, spicy tuna roll, and kawaii roll. We also had the opportunity to try their seared toro & it was amazing!!! We will definitely be back. I'd recommend Nishiki to anyone & everyone. They're definitely one of Pearland's best restaurants!

Pearland's restaurant scene has truly elevated over the past few years, and I can confidently say this might be the best addition yet. My parents are regulars here and have been raving about it so I finally decided to check it out. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant was nearly empty around 3 PM, which is always pleasant experience. To start, we ordered the grilled edamame, shishito peppers, seaweed salad, and yellowtail carpaccio. Every dish was amazing. The edamame and peppers were perfectly seasoned. I love that the shishito peppers have that unpredictable spicy kick! The seaweed salad, served with crab, was fresh and vibrant. As for the yellowtail carpaccio? Simply PERFECT- so fresh and light, it was my favorite dish of the meal. We also ordered some expertly crafted bloody marys, which hit the spot. Additionally, we shared an order of chicken fried rice. The portion was huge! Plenty for three people and we had some left over. While I found it could use a little more salt, the others in my group thought it was fine like that. When it came to sushi rolls, we tried the crudo roll, wagyu roll, and king salmon roll. The crudo roll had the best presentation of the evening, almost too pretty to eat! The seafood was fresh and flavorful. The wagyu roll was AMAZINGGGG perfectly seasoned, with high-quality meat that melted in my mouth. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the king salmon roll because my boyfriend loved it so much he didn't leave me a piece! According to him, it was some of the best sushi he's ever had. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and inviting. The service was really good as well. I wish I could remember our waiter's name because he was great! Super attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Overall, I was really impressed by this restaurant. It's so nice to have a spot offering high-quality seafood and exceptional dining in the area. You've officially gained a loyal customer. I can't wait to come back!

I took the food to go so I can't speak too much on the ambiance of the restaurant. However, I discovered the restaurant at the taste of Pearland. When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by two hostesses who were sooo sweet! I had a really great conversation with them while waiting for my food. I ordered the yellowtail appetizer, rainbow roll, and a California roll. The rainbow was my favorite! My only suggestion was adding more of the citrus vinaigrette to the yellowtail. Next time I go, I will be dining in.

This is a fine dining Japanese food experience. It is pricey but worth it. The food gives your taste buds a tour of culinary delights. We had the crispy fried rice cakes (a must have) as an appetizer. So very good. Hubby had Binco Maki and I had Kawaii. Both were fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to order either again. Dessert was the black sesame cheesecake, another unique taste. The servers were professional and courteous. The restaurant is modern and classy and subdued. We will definitely come back.

We finally went here for dinner. We waited for 15 minutes at their outdoor patio to get seated inside. Our waitress, Victoria, was awesome. She found out that it was our first time eating there so she explained the menu to us and made recommendations based on our preferences. The grilled edamame was delicious so we're the other food that we ordered. She also made sure our daughter had a birthday treat, which was fried ice cream. We'll definitely come back.

I love that Pearland is adding some cute date night spots! The restaurant is so cute. The colors and lighting chosen gives it a more upscale look without breaking the bank. This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant and the serve has been impressive both times. From the host/hostess to the servers, everyone you interact with are so helpful and kind. My favorite item on the menu is the crispy rice appetizer. The rice is light but very crispy and the fish tastes fresh. The flavors really compliment each other. We ordered 3 rolls to share as well. All of the ingredients tasted so fresh and the flavor profile was built so well for each roll. There wasn't a piece left in sight! This will definitely be on my list to come back to.

Tried a new place this evening. Nishiki Japanese Restaurant. The ambiance is classy yet relaxed. I got a couple of lychee martinis and hubby got the spicy margarita. Our waiter recommended the crispy rice cake as an appetizer: tuna, edamame puree, and yuzu lemon citrus. An amazing flavor explosion. It had a slight sweetness and saltiness that balanced so well together. Hubby got the truffle suzuki: spicy yellowtail, crunch, avocado, sea bass, golden tobiko, truffle vinaigrette. So good. I had the super tiger eye: smoked salmon and cream cheese, jalapeño, seaweed, tempura fried, snow crab, soy paper, sweet mayo, miso sauce. Truly amazing. I loved it. Then we split a wagyu roll: akaushi beef, cucumber, avocado, Asian pear, truffle vinaigrette, edamame puree. It was really great. I think I like my super tiger eye the best though. Then the manager came to the table and chatted for a bit. He was so nice and sent a complimentary tuna belly. It was a flavor explosion. It's not something I would normally order but I would now. Really good. For dessert we asked our waiter to surprise us. He chose black sesame cheesecake. Again, not something I would normally order but it was fantastic! We'll definitely be back. Great atmosphere and service. The food has so many layers of flavor. Loved it all.

Surprised to have such a nice looking sushi place in Pearland! The vibe is like a brighter version of Uchi with a contemporary, slightly minimalistic interior... and a big parking lot, hooray! The food was quite tasty, and my sister and I enjoyed everything-- with the rolls surprising us the most with its unique flavors that weren't just totally sauced up. I like how there wasn't too much rice with each nigiri piece too :) - Poseidon roll (spicy tuna, eel, avocado, massif, tempura crunch) was probably our favorite of the meal! Not overall saucy but also hefty and offered a punch of flavor - Don Nabe was a mushroom and white fish rice that was mixed at the table-- hot and comforting, glad to have a hot dish with the meal! Would recommend spoons for those challenged with chopsticks, hehe~ - Tuna nigiri came with a bit of a yuzu wasabi mix on top, and while still tasty, we would prefer it without the wasabi next time - Unagi (eel) nigiri was very tender and not too saucy, yum! - Salmon sashimi was thick cut and fresh but didn't really have much of a salmon taste, which was a little surprising to me. - Vegetable Tempura hit the spot and was nicely fried, although could be just a tad crispier. Would order again! The service was friendly and attentive (although we were also the only two people dining during an empty lunch hour). And the manager came to talk to us too, even comping his favorite dish, the Toban Yaki! It was a super rich and umami-packed mushroom dish with shishito peppers. Definitely on the heavier side but we still demolished it, thank you! Nishiki is a great place for city sushi without driving all the way into the city. I'll be back to the more of their rolls :) It's pretty, serves tasty Japanese food, and is a nice place for date night or catching up over a meal!
